The Electric Cinema in Notting Hill are offering a new film viewing experience with a difference and this time it’s edible.
Do you remember when TV chef Heston Blumenthal made cinema goers eat different flavour foods while watching the film Perfume. The idea was that the flavours in the food would bring the film to life and now the Electric are offering a very similar experience.
The edible film watching experience kicks off with a screening of Pan’s Labyrinth. Before the film starts the audience will be given numbered packages which you’ll be instructed to eat at certain points in the film.
The idea is that the foods texture, scent and taste will all add to the film experience. If you want to try it out the first screening is on 13th May and tickets cost £22.50 from the Electric Cinema website.
