It’s been a neglected area of London since Boris Johnson launched his Cycle Hire Network but now East London are set to have access to Boris Bikes.
In what is the networks first major expansion since it launched last year much of Tower Hamlets are set to get access to the bikes which Londoners can pay to hire on a daily or yearly basis.
An additional 2,300 bikes have been set up around East London bringing the London total to 8,000 and the project is expected to expand yet again to South London in 2013. The TfL website and all relevant apps have now been updated to easily show you where you’ll be able to find the new docking stations however there is currently a message that reads ‘“a number of stations in East London located east of the Royal London Hospital docking station are being tested… please do not use them.’
