Less than 24 hours after we got a sneak peak at some footage from Quentin Tarantino’s new film Django Unchained the first trailer has arrived.

Starring Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio, Christoph Waltz and Samuel L. Jackson Django Unchained tells the story of a slave, Django (played by Foxx) turned bounty hunter who goes on a mission with his mentor to take down a family of brothers who have wronged them. Django is in search of his missing wife who the brothers have sold on to another owner while his mentor has his own agenda.

From what we can tell in this first trailer Django Unchained is going to be an absolute must-see for all Tarantino fans and indeed anyone who’s not afraid of a little Western blood shed. It’s also good to see Foxx playing such a complex character and by the looks of it his acting talents are well up to scratch for the role.

Django Unchained is released in December.
