Here is the official video for new Django Django single Hail Bop and all we can say is much like the band themselves, its pretty original.
The track will be released on the 13th of August and features on their critically acclaimed self titled LP that dropped at the beginning of the year.
Created and directed by Daniel Swan the video for Hail Bop sees the band in rather abstract surroundings. Vinnie Neff Django singer and guitarist seems to be pushing around some kind of bubble like nebula while the rest of the band partake in casually cryptic activities in the computer generated landscape. The open plan imagined building is like something out of Vice City with the Miami palm trees and we’re not really sure what to make of the metallic snake like growth that weaves around the landscape.
Scottish quartet Django Django were seen at this years Field Day as well as The Great Escape and are currently on a sold out tour of the UK. The band also featured in a recent slot on Later With Jools Holland, the only way is up for these lot – just hopefully not up those almost never ending stairs!
