The Disappearing Dining Club is popping to Devon after its many successful London events.
The Disappearing Dining club have hosted creative dinner parties and shared dining experiences in different locations around London for near on two years now so they thought it was high time to leave the big smoke and get some country air.
Now they will launch Disappearing Weekends, an all together more immersive experience. These weekends will be held in The Great Barn near Branscombe in East Devon and will be for small groups of friends wanting a get-away that includes first class food and drink created by your own personally chef and bartender.
The weekend long supper clubs are hosted by Johnny Jeffrey who is your chef and bartender for the weekend. Both Johnny and his partner Alan (and Ralf the dog) will take your group on country walks, to pubs, trips to the beach and bric-a-brac shopping all weekend long.
Johnny has a long history in some of London’s finest establishments, is a fully trained chef and has hosted or managed the likes of Tapas Brindisa at Borough Market, Mark Hix’s Oyster & Chop House in Clerkenwell and Oyster & Fish House in Lyme Regis, Harvey Nichols’ Fifth Floor and the Groucho Club, before moving to Devon in 2008.
Devon to Waterloo is not too far and the Great Barn accommodates up to three couples/6 friends. You arrive on a Friday evening and leave early afternoon on Sunday.
A Disappearing Weekend costs £1500 for accommodation for six people including food and drink. To book contactinfo@disappearingdiningclub.co.uk or call 07507 754318.
