We told you last week how The V&A are due to host a retrospective about the life and music of David Bowie but today the singer has denied any involvement with the project.
It was originally thought that Bowie was working closely with the South Kensington museum co-curating the retrospective which will focus on his eccentric style and rise to cult status.
However today the singer took to his official Facebook page to say that he will ‘not participate in any decisions relating to the exhibition’. He also wrote that he’s certainly not co-curating the show.
The statement follows rumours that Bowie has falling out with the museums organisers however that hasn’t been denied or confirmed either way.
The retrospective is expected to open later this year with The V&A due to make a full statement about what it’ll involve in the next few weeks.
