Damon Albarn has released an interactive sampler for his new album Dr Dee and you can listen to it above.
Dr Dee is the latest musical project by Blur frontman Albarn and documents the life of Dr John Dee, a mathematician and polymath who was also an advisor to Elizabeth I.
Made up of 18 tracks the album has been described as an opera and was recorded in Albarn’s own studio in West London along with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra.
This new sampler gives you the chance to listen to a bit of each of the tracks to see if you’re going to like it or not. All you have to do is click on the song you want to listen to and it’ll begin playing, clever stuff.
Albarn will be putting on a special performance of the Dr Dee Opera at the London Coliseum between 25th June – 7th July. Tickets cost just £15 and you can get tickets and more details right here.
