Ethical fashion store Here Today Here Tomorrow is hosting an Autumn Winter event next week. The Dalston shop and working studio will lay on drinks and nibbles and up to 20% discount on Thursday 11th October with designs from the likes of Leeds-based outfitters Antiform, renowned London label Goodone and fairtrade fans Outsider.
Here Today Here Tomorrow celebrates its two year anniversary this month, too and there’ll be bargains to be had from their own label stuff at the shop at 30a Balls Pond Road, N1 4AU from 4pm till 9pm on Thursday.
We know by now that ethical fashion doesn’t have to substitute style for the hippy dippy kaftan image it might previously have been tarred with and we reckon this HTHT shopper is testament to that.
It’s made from second hand and organic fabrics, which cut down massively on the ecological impact of a new bag, and it’s ruddy good value at £80. They also do homewares; we particularly like this graphic patchwork cushion.
If you can’t make it to the shop you can buy their stuff on Folksy. With four designer-founders ready to show off their dressmaking techniques before your very eyes in the store as well as sell you lovely threads, we reckon it’s probably worth a visit, though.
