I think Lourdes should sit her mum down and maybe have a chat to her about how the world has changed. Maybe let her know that sitting infront of Twitter for a photograph will not con people into thinking she is actually using her fingers to type or that swastikas are not a taboo that need to be broken.

It’s no secret that Madonna’s recent live shows have gone down appallingly badly lately, the 54 year old resulted to pitiful tactics to make people talk about her latest MDNA tour as she maybe began to realise that no one cared any more and instead sat firmly in the ‘it’s time to grow old gracefully now’ camp.

She flashed her right breast in Istanbul, her left one in Paris, and in Rome, she got her arse out (people may get excited about a nip slip from the Saturadays but not a flash from a 54 year old mum of four). But that’s just the start of it. Obviously not instantly reading her own negative press for the shows and maybe decamping to Ibiza and a bar where you flash for shots Madge instead decided to stick a swastika in the video content used (this was on the forehead of the French politician Marine Le Pen) as well as include the graphic use of guns in her performance.

Again – note to Lourdes, let your mum know that no one wants to see her mimicking felashio with a gun barrel. She might also like to refrain from writing songs and calling them things like ‘Gang Bang’.

But all that aside Madonna has actually probably for the first time backed down on the swastika side of things – maybe she has realised she is winning no fans with her behavior, or maybe that using a swastika to gain attention was just inherently wrong.

After Madonna performed in Europe she got the full on backlash of the French National Front Party who threatened to sue unless she took the swastika imagery out of her video footage. After this Madonna apparently decided that a tour video imposing a swastika on the forehead of its president, is not the most effective form of protest, and the image has been edited.

In place of a swastika, the video now shows a question mark. Well done Lourdes.
