So the sweary, violent trailer for Cockneys vs. Zombies has landed, with colourful characters who look set to turn the end of the world into a right old knees up, you slags.

Set in the East End of London, different generations have to team up to escape the plague of the undead, or at least drive them back to more prosperous parts of the capital.

The trailer really speaks for itself, although it is hard to escape the feeling that this movie might have made more of an impact in 2004. It seems far more bombastic than Shaun of the Dead, but 2012 audiences will have seen more shambling corpses being dismembered than they’ve had hot cups of Rosie Lea.
