After you put in your start location and preferred end location you get five transport options : Bus, taxi, tube, cycling and walking. FOr transport where paid it tells you the likely cost, for walking and cycling you get told how many calories you will burn and if you do choose to cycle CityMapper also provides options for fast or quiet rides as well as siting cycle-hire.
