We love all the gory, weird delights that Mrs Cakehead comes up with in London but we are not quite so sure about these incredibly true to life baby head chocolates that have popped up in Manchester.

The baby heads are made by Annabel de Vetten who enjoys to shock with her culinary skills. The heads contain so much rich chocolate that to eat a whole one would be consuming 5,000 calories!

Originally made as a private commission now de Veetten makes them or all sorts of parties and even as baby shower gifts. We’re not too sure that we would want a chocolate baby head where the eating suggestion is to smash it with a hammer because it’s too large to bite if we were about to have a baby but there is none so weird as folk.
