Yesterday evening we told you that the East end of the Central Line had been suspended due to a burst water main. This morning things aren’t looking any better and you’re taking to Twitter in your hundreds to let the world know about it.
Anyone travelling on the Central line this morning are being forced to seek alternative routes to get to work. Rail replacement buses that were running between Mile End and Leytonstone are now only running between Leytonstone and Stratford (about a 10 minute journey) due to over crowding and naturally everyone is pretty F’d off about it.
In fact so many of you are having a bad morning that ‘Central Line’ has become a trending topic on Twitter so with that in mind we thought we’d talk you through all the drama via what you guys are tweeting. At the very least it’ll entertain you while you queue for a bus…
@MarvAbbey morning sounds worse than most tweeting, ’1 of the worst mornings! Central line absolutely mugs me 4a 2nd day in a row & then a woman throws up on the bus so we all have to get off!’
@KylaJN has a good idea saying, ‘The Central Line should be renamed…any suggestions? Seven Circles of Damnation Line (or SCD Line for short)?’
@Laurenezekiel imagines what it’ll be like during the Olympics saying, ‘No central line, no replacement buses, and so far a 25min wait for a bus anywhere. Its like tfl want to give us a taster of what’s to come.’
@NatalieAFC gives TfL a new name saying, ‘I love how even the replacement buses aren’t working for the latest Central Line disaster. Pah!… TFL = Totally Frickin’ Late!’
@BigKevTheWanted jokes about the hosepipe ban, ‘Thames Water, UK’s largest water company, hopes to end hosepipe ban earlier than expected on the central line!’
