Another day, another trailer for a remake is posted online. This time the film up for reworking is classic 1970s horror movie Carrie, which will star the increasingly ubiquitous teen troublemaker Chloë Grace Moretz alongside everyone’s favourite strawberry blonde fox Julianne Moore.

Not much is given away about the film in this teaser trailer, but anyone familiar with Stephen King’s story will have a pretty good idea of what to expect.

Also, those who caught the excellent Chronicle earlier this year might wonder why its necessary to revist the tale of a disturbed adolescent with supernatural powers when something much more modern has already been attempted in 2012.

Carrie will be out next April, so get your buckets of pigs blood at the ready and make sure you dig those graves deep.
