According to eye witnesses on Twitter this morning a car has crashed into a house in the Mile End area.

The whole of Grove Road was shut off to traffic after a driver reportedly drove straight into a house of a local resident. It’s causing major disruption as the road is one of the main roads that runs parallel to the station.

At the time of writing police are working hard to get the road reopened to buses and other traffic which are currently on diversion.
