Last night Samsung revealed all the details about their new Galaxy S3. The follow up their 2011 released best selling phone in the world the new model is being dubbed by many as the ‘iPhone killer’. But can Samsung really topple Apple from their throne?
So what features does the Samsung Galaxy S3 have? Well just like the iPhone the Galaxy S3 will have voice control but it also goes one step further than that introducing eye and face-tracking that is built in to the phone.
Secondly the Galaxy S3 has a 4.8″ screen compared to the iPhone’s 3.5″ one. It also has a 1280 x 720p resolution, far higher and bigger than that of the Apple devise.
Next up the new phone, which was launched at a huge party in London last night, is powered by a quad-core processor which is pretty similar to the one that you would usually find in a laptop making it far more powerful and much quicker than the iPhone.
Other fairly impress features include NFC technology which means you can share files, videos etc by tapping your phone onto a friends phone. The S3 also comes with a separate wireless charging key which means your phone will charge without needing to be plug into a wall, very handy for festivals and if you’re on the move a lot.
Due for release in Europe on 29th May in blue and white we have to say we’re already quite excited about check it out and while we are die-hard iPhone fans at heart we have to say that some of the features mentioned above could well be enough to persuade us to put our faith in Samsung. Who saw that coming?
