Camden Town Brewery has opened an on-site bar, perfect for a beer led excursion at the weekend or of course for any hard core beer fans out there.
Camden Town Brewery can be found under the arches of Kentish Town West Overground station and it boasts some of the most advanced brewing equipment in any UK micro-brewery.
The bar is currently only open on Fridays though Thursday Friday and Saturday openings are soon to be added. The Camden Town Brewery bar offers Camden Town’s full core range of beers including Hells Lager, Camden Wheat Beer, Camden Pale Ale and the thick dark stout that is Camden Ink.
The brewery also makes limited edition beers including Black Friday which was produced for the Friday the 13th just gone when the bar launched.
Although the bar is dominated by beer there are a couple of other options on the menu including a couple of wines and a few spirits to keep any non-beer lover who has been dragged along happy.
If you really want to get into the London Brewing swing of things then the brewery offers regular tours on Thursdays and Saturdays priced at £10. For this you get to see the little brewery in action, as well as sample one of their unusual beers.
And the new doesn’t stop there. Over the summer the bar will hook up with Byron catering vans offering drinkers a nice burger or two as well as a couple of other foodie establishments yet to be announced.
Camden Town Brewery and bar : 55-59 Wilkin Street Mews, NW5 3NN.
The bar currently opens between 4pm and 11pm on Fridays. Towards the end of April it will start opening between 4pm and 11pm Thursday -Saturday.
