Brindisa have three tapas restaurants across London and it looks like it’s about to become four.
The importers of Spanish goods already have a loyal following due to their prominence at Borough Market, where their journey began (the original deli is still there). Founded by Monika Linton in 1988, they have venues in Soho and South Kensington, as well as their first flagship restaurant in London Bridge.
The new tapas venture is thought to be opening on Curtain Road this August at the former Saf site, just a stones throw from Hoxton Square.
Brindisa’s tapas restaurants aren’t your average chain, its been their care and caution that has brought a silent but steady expansion for the brand. Each premises differs enough to bring something new to their customers with quality being their only constant, as their food never fails to impress.
It will be interesting to see how they fit into the busy East London area and what Spanish delights will be on offer at this particular Brindisa, we just hope it includes their Croquetas de Jamón.
