For his latest art project Andrew Miller has painted iconic objects completely white removing all signs of branding.
The project is called Brand Spirit and has seen Miller painting an object a day for 100 days completely removing any recognisable traits from it. He set himself just a few simple rules, all the objects he transforms he must be able to buy for $10 or less and he can also use objects that are given to him or that he finds just lying around.
From Haribo bears to a Rubik’s cube, can of Campbell’s soup and a pad of Post-its Miller has searched high and low for some of the most instantly recognisable objects in existence with the aim to strip them back to their most basic form.
We think the results, which can be seen above, are rather beautiful. You can check out all of the pieces over on the Brand Spirit website or take a look at some of our favourites at the top of the page.
