Gorillaz and Converse are teaming up for a new track release and collaborative trailer release.

After Gorillaz have been pretty quite for a while so this is quite exciting. Jamie Hewlett has also put pictures of the band onto some Chuck Taylors which will be released with the track as a limited edition.

There will be two other artists collaborating on the track with Gorillaz and we are yet to hear who these are.

You can here Murdoc talking about the collaboration here. We think that for the deal to go ahead Murdoc certainly had to agree to mention ‘Converse’ at least about 50 times in his broadcast.

The trainers will be available on February the 23rd.
