Fred Perry and Bradley Wiggins have teamed up for a second fashion collection to be released this Thursday.
After the mod-favoured label, Fred Perry and champion cyclist, Bradley Wiggins CBE’s SS12 collection, the Autumn Winter first drop will see classic pieces like the long sleeve cotton pique shirt updated with the so-called Bradley stripe and a cycle-friendly rear hem pocket.
The collaboration proved a sell-out success when it launched earlier this year. It makes sense; the 60 year old mod label which takes its name from the iconic tennis player teaming up with the side-burned dude who topped the record books by winning the Tour de France yellow jersey and an Olympic gold medal in the same year.
A preview evening for the first drop of the collection will be held at five selected Fred Perry shops in Nottingham, Cardiff, Manchester, Brighton and Paris on the 22 August from 7 till 9pm.
Other drops will take place until the end of the year and will include slim fit half zip merino wool shirts with a GB Stripe detail for any residual Olympics pangs you might have.
The collection will be available in all Fred Perry Authentic shops and online.
