Halloween is almost done so what’s next? Bonfire Night of course! A cosy, crackling evening of bright lights and fires in some of London’s biggest parks and open spaces.
So make sure you are ready to wrap up warm and buy your sparklers because below is a round up of some of your best options this Guy Fawkes Night, to be fair most of them are quite similar and we find when deciding where to spend the bonfire night festivities the most important things to us are location and cost so that’s what we are concentrating on. Battersea Park : £6 adv, £10 on day – Be aware that this is a hugely popular event, so much so that your phone will likely loose reception once there so plan to meet people before hand.
Beckenham : £5, £3 concessions and under-16s
Blackheath, 8pm : FREE - One of our favourites with a huge bonfire and enough space to avoid crowding although don’t try to get to Blackheath Station afterwards for a good couple of hours.
Carshalton : £5 adv, £6 on night, programs for the evening are on sale now, raising money for local charities.
Chislehurst : £6 adults, £3 children
Danson Park, Bexley : £5 - the biggest firework display in South East London
Morden Park, Merton : £8 adults, £5 children
Ealing Cricket Club : £6 adults, £4 under-14s, There there is a Make The Guy competition where you can win £40 if you have skills.
