After the drama on Tuesday at The Whittington Hospital another bomb scare has taken place today this time on Oxford Street.

According to Twitter the whole of Oxford Street has been closed off and shops evacuated while a controlled explosion is carried out on a suspect package.

The unidentified bag was found near Selfridges and police are now trying to determine if it’s dangerous or not.

Update: A controlled explosion has now been carried out and shops are reopening their doors to shoppers.
