Another Day of the Dead party for you but this one is tomorrow (1st November) at the Blues Kitchen.
The Blues Kitchen, if you don’t know it, is a great London blues bar that serves some really nice special liqueurs and has a seriously good Mexican American themed menu.
On the night to celebrate the Mexican Day of The Dead there will be complimentary El Jimador Paloma tequila cocktails if people can translate the following into Spanish and say it, clearly at the bar…IN SPANISH: ‘HAPPY DAY OF THE DEAD, MAKE MINE AN EL JIMADOR
The fantastic Mariachi band (borrowed from the Mexican mother-ship that is Cafe Pacifico) will be busking and then playing on the main stage from 8pm onwards and full ‘authentic’ skull face make-up will be offered for a few lucky punters who are quick off the mark when arriving (first come first served).
The Blues Kitchen will be decorated as a shrine to the dead (naturally) created by the most autentic Mexican folk art suppliers, House of Guadalupe
