Clapton has got a very cool new hair salon that goes by the name of Blue Tit.

This is the second Blue Tit salon and it resides on Lower Clapton Road. Blue Tit made a fair few friends in it’s first two weeks open by offering 50% off hair cuts and now many of those that took up that offer are happily trotting back.

The salon has a wonderful interior, all sourced from vintage and repurposed interiors and only uses natural Davines product. Blue Tit are also using their walls to showcase emerging London artist’s work.

Blue Tit have kind of mixed a trendy east London hairdressers with an up market ‘experience’ salon and added a tribe of hairdresses that look like they have just stepped out of an Urban Outfitter’s look book but hey, if you want a trendy haircut you want a trendy person to do it, right?

Prices aren’t cheap with a haircut coming in at £53 for a lady and £38 for a man but as it says on their website, you don’t just get a hair cut for this, you get an experience.
