Blood Orange have released a new video for their next single, Champagne Coast and you can check it out above.

Blood Orange is the latest musical project from Lightspeed Champion singer Dev Hynes and today they’ve released a new animated video for their next single.

In what is a rather odd video we see Dev singing the song from a laptop while some dodgy looking 2D dances prance around his New York home in an effort that has been directed by Haley Wollens.

Dev told the New York Times that the new track is about longing saying, ‘The song, as with every other piece of music I seem to make, is mostly about longing, creating scenarios in regards to an unrequited lover, plans that will never see fruition’. He then went on to add, ‘So you’re left alone in your digitally created interior to dance by yourself.’ … of course.
