Believe it or not LMFAO’s single, Party Rock Anthem has been named the best selling track of 2011 by iTunes.

The song was released back in January when it spent four weeks at the top of the singles chart and comes in just ahead of Adele’s Someone Like You which sits at number 2 in the best selling tracks of the year.

Also on the list were Maroon 5′s song, Moves Like Jagger, Jessie J’s Price Tag and Bruno Mars’ Grenade. At the same time as revealing the biggest selling singles iTunes also announced the biggest selling albums these including Adele’s 21 at number one, Rihanna’s Loud  coming in at number two and Lady Gaga’s Born This Way.
