He’s one of the most famous film directors of all time and now the British Film Institute are due to celebrate the life and works of Alfred Hithcock.
The three month long event will not only see screenings of all 58 of Hitchcock’s films but all also see the BFI restoring his silent movies and will host outdoor screenings of his 1920′s hits Champagne and Blackmail along with a live musical accompaniment.
As well as film screenings there will also be talks and live events with actors such as Tippi Hedron and Bruce Dern who both worked with Hitchcock. The celebration is part of the London 2012 festivities which sees many London venues and arts companies hosting events in celebration of the Olympic Games hitting London this Summer.
