Highgate Village is usually such a pleasant place to be but if you live or work in the area you need to be careful when using the areas ATM machines as there’s been a spate of card machine crimes there recently.
A group of thieves have been tampering with the cash machines and stealing people’s cards and pin numbers using specially fitted hidden cameras.
The crimes have been taking place largely over the last month so if you’ve used a machine in the area in that time you might want to check over your statements to make sure nothing dodgy has gone on.
