Come 2013 8 billion will be spent on regenerating Battersea Power Station. The Power Station, which is currently being used for a number of events and festivals was bought by The Malaysian consortium in July. They now plan to spend 400 Million on the 39-acre site in south-west London making it into 3,500 homes, offices, shops and a park. (here)

Don’t park your car in Knightsbridge, it may not be as posh but take the bus. Car parking in the area can cost up to £36 for 3 hours! Car parking prices in general rose by 12.5 % last year as the capital try to deter people from using their vehicles. (here)
