Azealia Banks has teamed up with Hudson Mohawke for a new track called Jumanji and you can take a listen to it below.
Named after the hit 1995 film of the same name Jumanji is widely believed to be taken from Banks’ up coming EP which is due for release later this summer.
Fans of the US rapper have been waiting patiently for Banks and her team to sort out what direction she’ll be going in ever since she hit the mainstream with her controversial first single 212.
To begin with Banks was due to release an EP followed by a number of festival appearances and her debut album towards the end of the year. However since ditching her old management in favour for Lady Gaga’s manager Troy Carter she’s pulled out of all her UK festival appearances including gigs at Radio 1′s Hackney Weekend and Lovebox and has pushed back the release of her first album until it’s up to scratch.
For now we’ll just have to be content with this new tune and the promise that there should be a new EP released within the next few months.
Check out Jumanji, which has been accompanied by some rather strange art work of a cartoon Banks dancing with an elephant, below…
