This story is so weird that we’re not even sure we can get our heads around it but apparently Azealia Banks is holding a party at the London Aquarium next month.

The costumed Mermaid Ball is set to take place at the Aquarium on the Thames on 13th October and will be for over 18s only.

At the moment we don’t really know any finer details of what the event will entail but we imagine you can expect lots of people in mermaid costumes putting on some kind of show to Banks’ music. Hell Banks herself might even thrown on a fin and sparkly bikini top and dive on in.

It’s been a bit of an odd year for the rapper turned singer who has made her way through three managers, had Twitter spats with the world and his mother and managed to delay the release of her debut album several times while she’s at it.
