Azealia Banks has pulled out of all of her UK festival shows this summer on her managements say so.
212 singer Banks was due to play a number of festivals including Lovebox, Rockness, Radio 1 Hackney Weekend and Reading and Leeds festival but it’s been announced this afternoon that she’s cancelling them all.
The reason for pulling out of the shows is down to her management who insist that the singer spends more time recording her debut album, Broke With Expensive Taste.
Hailing from New York Banks’ management released a statement breaking the news in which they said, ‘A decision has been made by her new management that she needs to get back into the studio and invest more time on her forthcoming debut album Broke With Expensive Taste’.
Banks is now managed by Lady Gaga’s manager Troy Carter and it seems like he’s really cracking the whip on her so any UK fans looking forward to seeing the rapper, who is currently the UK number one single, are going to have to wait a bit longer.
Earlier today we told you about Banks teaming up with Lana Del Rey on a remix of Del Rey’s single Blue Jeans. If you missed it you can hear the collaboration here.
