Starting today, over 3,500 practising artists come together to display their work in pop-up installations in homes, cafes, galleries and shops throughout Walthamstow.
And it’s not just installations, the E17 Art Trail offers theatre, talks, tours, music and comedy laced throughout the streets. Have your portrait done at Pop-up Paris Portraiture, visit the Bank of Walthamstow to cash in on the local currency, or relax while you watch screenings from Walthamstow’s International Film Festival.
The Trail officially opens at midday today, with a ribbon to mark the occasion, and runs until September 16.
