Do you class yourself as a comedian? Like an actual, serious comedian who’s brave enough to stand up infront of a room full of celebrities and other important people? Then you should read on because a new competition has been launched that could see you performing at the Secret Policeman’s Ball in New York.
For those not already in the know The Secret Policeman’s Ball is an annual charity event that helps to raise money for Amnesty International and to celebrate they’ve launched a competition to find a UK comedian who will perform The World’s Shortest Gig. Basically if you win you have 15 seconds on stage to make people such as Coldplay and 5000 other people laugh.
If you think you’ve got what it takes and fancy a trip to NYC to perform at the legendary Radio City Music Hall then all you have to do is head to the Facebook page and upload a thigh slappingly hilarious 15 second clip and then sit back and await the call to tell you you’ve won.
A shortlist of entries will be decided upon by a panel of judges that includes The Inbetweeners‘ Simon Bird, journalist Caitlin Moran and comedian Andi Osho and then the winner will be voted for by the public.
