They’re one of the most hotly tipped new bands of 2012 and now Alt-J have announced that they will be playing a one-off London date later this year.

The band will round off a summer full of festivals with a nine date UK tour which will kick off in October and finish off at London’s Electric Ballroom on 5th November.

Described as an ‘art-rock four piece’ Alt-J hail from Cambridge and made big waves on the music charts when their debut album found its way into the top 20 before most music fans had even heard of their name. Since then they’ve been bust receiving plenty of praise from music press, building themselves up a cosy fan base and preparing for a summers worth of festivals that will include performances at Latitude and Bestival.
