Alt-J have announced their biggest ever UK tour and it includes a one-off date at London’s Brixton Academy.
Kicking off on 6th November in Birmingham the 10 date tour will round off in London on 16th November bringing to an end an incredible year for the alt indie four piece.
Made up of Joe Newman, Gwil Sainsbury, Thom Green and Gus Unger-Hamilton Alt-J bust on to the music scene when they were put in started releasing tracks at the beginning of the year. Since then they’ve toured the UK, released a debut album and are already being hotly tipped to pick up the 2012 Mercury Music Prize. Impressive stuff for a band most of us hadn’t heard of 12 months ago.
If you fancy catching them live then tickets went on sale a few hours ago so make sure you get yours here.
