High-end designer Alice Temperley has today announced that she has designed her first ever high-street collection for John Lewis.
The collection has been named the Somerset collection after Temperley’s home area and is due to hit John Lewis stores and online from 4th September.
Made up of 60 different pieces Alice Temperley for John Lewis will focus on ‘essential’ items for the Autumn/Winter season including a leopard print jumper, boho dresses, military style jackets and blouses.
It will also be accompanied by an advertising campaign featuring the model Lily Donaldson.
Speaking to Vogue Temperley said, ‘We recently celebrated our 10th anniversary and have spent the last ten years building our lines and understanding our customer.’
She then went on to add, ‘Somerset will compliment our existing brands and is a very accessible product that will take our aesthetic to a wider audience. I know a lot of people who can’t afford high fashion but appreciate well-made, wearable clothes.’
At the moment we don’t have any images of the collection but we’ll add some in as soon as we get them.
