Singer Adele has announced she’s pregnant.

The 24-year-old star released a statement on her website today to tell all the news.

This is the first baby for the singer with her boyfriend Simon Konecki.

Adele and Simon, 36, have been together since last summer.  Adele has made it no secret in the past of her intention to settle down and have a family.

In an interview for US Vogue, Adele said that she would be going off for “four or five years” to focus on relationships, get married, have some kids and “plant a nice vegetable patch.”

We hope she won’t be off too long as we do rather like her music.
