Here’s the new trailer for Brit horror film A Night in the Woods.

Now, as far as we can tell this is some sort of weird mix of every found footage film ever made but it’s biggest influence seems to be The Blair Witch Project.

On paper this film should be pretty good. It comes from the guys behind hit indie film Monsters and has a BAFTA nominated director in the shape of Richard Parry but after watching the trailer we’re not so sure we want to part with our hard earned money to see it.

A Night in the Woods tells the story of a boyfriend and girlfriend, Brody and Kerry, who go camping in Dartmoor’s Wistman’s Woods along with her cousin Leo. When tensions both sexual and of the anger variety begin to heighten the group can’t work out what is going wrong. That is until night falls and some dark forces begin their work.

If you like fairly predictable shaky camera films then this is for you. If not we probably wouldn’t bother going to see it when it’s released on 7th September.
