If you make an effort to dress up this Halloween (31 October) and get yourself to Chipotle Mexican Grill you can get a Burrito for the bargain price of £2 and not only will you feel like you are getting a right bargain and being suitably festive for the season, you will also be giving to charity.
Chipotle Mexican Grill is helping raise funds to benefit FoodCycle through this ‘Boorito’ fundraiser. There are 5 Chipotle restaurants across London, and this Halloween all will treat customers in fancy dress to a burrito, burrito bowl, salad, or order of tacos for only £2 between the hours of 4pm and closing. Proceeds raised will benefit food charity, FoodCycle.
The special deal is to mark the first anniversary of Chipotle’s partnership with FoodCycle, a national charity that combines volunteers, surplus food, and spare kitchen spaces to create nutritious meals for people at risk from food poverty and social isolation. Chipotle donates its surplus food each Monday and Thursday to the Notre Dame Refugee Centre located at Leicester Square. The Centre is an important service for about 50 Congolese Asylum seekers each week in London, and now in addition to legal advice and health checks, they will receive nutritious and tasty meals.
Good news all round!
