For the restructure of HMV it has been confirmed that up to 100 stores will close.
Deloitte, the company that has been pulled in to sort ou HMV’s assets is set to announce the closure of between 60 and 100 shops this week, which could see 1,500 jobs axed (over and above the ones that have gone already, according to The Sunday Telegraph.
The 120 – 160 shops that are left after the closures will sell HMV’s stock until it’s all gone.
Anyone still with a job at HMV should start looking for something else quick, even the HMV website has now gone down totally (see above).
